What will 2011 bring?

I am not a prophet by any stretch of the imagination, so to for tell what is going to happen in the upcoming year would clearly be a guess.  There are some things that are for certain going to take place.  As we witnessed at the end of the year following the November elections, many people started to spend again.  We at Exit Realty had a very good November with 21 closings, and December seems to be following suite.  I have been involved in some very intense training that is helping me build the relationships that are necessary to be successful in any business. 

     Through out this year I plan to blog about the everyday happenings that transpire in the process of listing and selling of real estate.  I hope it will be of value to those who are thinking of selling their current home and looking to buy a new home.

Wow, what a Year!!!

I have traveled down a few different roads in my 50 years of life, and now I think I have arrived at my true calling.  In February of 2010 I was offered a position to be the Minister at the St. Augustine Road church of Christ, and in September I completed the course to receive my Realtors license.  I have the great blessing to help people find the perfect home while living on this temporary earth, and help them more importantly look for a home that will not pass away.  I get to meet new folks everyday, that range from people who are moving up from a house that is to small to the home of their dreams.  What a great feeling it is to be able to really change someone life.  This week I was blessed to meet and possibly help a family who is moving back to the U.S. from a few years from living abroad.  I do love my JOB and love the thought of many years of helping people.
